Involvement in the Community

Miami Dolphins Fishing TournamentAtlanta Jet is a proud sponsor of the CIGNA HealthCare Miami Dolphins Fishing Tournament.  The tournament is held in the honor of the late Scott Chait, an avid fisherman and member of the Miami Dolphins Community Relations staff who passed away at the age of 23 after a life- long battle with Cystic Fibrosis.

Benefiting the Miami Dolphins Foundation, the CIGNA HealthCare Miami Dolphins Fishing Tournament includes Miami Dolphins players, alumni and coaches for a fun filled day of fishing out of Miami Beach Marina. The event includes the Hook & Tackle Captain's Party and a dinner/awards ceremony where prizes are awarded to the boat with the most total fish in pounds, as well as prizes for the largest kingfish, dolphin, wahoo and tuna.

Miami Dolphins FoundationThe Miami Dolphins Foundation was established in 1995 as the fundraising arm of the Miami Dolphins Football Team. The Dolphins, through the foundation, have made a commitment to the betterment of South Florida youth through a direct focus on, but not limited to, educational, health, social, and community service issues.

The Miami Dolphins Foundation contributes, whenever possible, to charitable groups that are compatible with the philosophy of the Foundation. Resources for contributions are procured through various fundraising events throughout the year.

Every year Atlanta Jet is one of the event main sponsors.  Please see the Miami Dolphins website for press releases refering to the Atlanta Jet sponsorship.
